Plug Valve

Plug valves are ¼ turn, which controls the circulation by means of a cylindrical or conical plug which has a hole in the center, taht can be moved from the open position to the closed by a turn of 90°
A cone is the closing element of plug valves. Like ball valves, they are quarter turn valves. They are valves of simple  configuration, consequently, they have a low cost of maintenance.
